Our Team
Leigh started the business in 2009, driven by a passion for different styles of homes and a love for creating unique, custom homes. He thrives on meeting with clients, listening to their dreams, and transforming his drawings into their reality. His ability to diversify and pivot has been key to Allchin's success. From starting with subcontracting trades for 15-20 homes, Allchin now focuses on larger custom homes and has recently expanded into the commercial sector, earning awards that the team is immensely proud of.
Outside of work, Leigh is a family man who loves spending time at home and entertaining loved ones. He enjoys switching off while tending to his cows and doing tractor work on the farm.

Meet Abbey, the powerhouse behind our office operations here at Allchin. She handles the contracts, permits, and on-site client meetings as we navigate the build stages with clients.
With five years of dedicated service at Allchin, Abbey has seen many homes completed and is excited about our San Remo modern beach house project that's taking shape. (Keep your eyes peeled for this one!)
Beyond her role, Abbey enjoys playing netball for @ellinbankeaglesfnc or indulging in some retail therapy at her beloved Chadstone.

Introducing Tim, one of our stellar lead carpenters at Allchin! He's been an integral part of our team for a decade, starting from his apprenticeship days.
Tim oversees our sites and mentors apprentices, bringing a wealth of experience gained right here at Allchin since the beginning. He loves the diverse range of houses and the top-notch quality that defines Allchin's homes.

Meet Tom, another one of our dedicated second-year carpentry apprentices, who kicked off his journey with Allchin!
Tom loves the variety of knowledge on site at Allchin, and enjoys learning from all the trades- not just carpentry. Commercial jobs and the excitement of initiating new projects are what he loves most.
Off-duty, catch him on the footy field representing @catanifootynetball or soaking up the sun at the beach.

BJ's been part of our team since the beginning- nearly 13 years! He's the linchpin connecting our trades and clients, ensuring daily smooth sailing. He thrives on projects that push boundaries and loves tackling construction challenges head-on. When your slab gets poured, BJ steps in as your main point of contact till the project's done. Great communication is his secret to keeping our clients happy.
Outside work, catch BJ cheering for his favourite Bombers or enjoying time with his family at the dog beach in Ventnor.

Domestic Site Supervisor
Introducing Nicole, our Administration Management and Contracts Administrator here at Allchin! With a remarkable 13 years of industry experience, Nicole has been an invaluable member of our team for the past 5 years. She's the driving force behind our commercial tenders, meticulously handling everything from site meetings to contracts and purchase orders for materials. For our residential jobs, her expertise ensures the seamless scheduling of work on-site, keeping our projects running smoothly from start to finish.
Beyond the office, Nicole's family keeps her happily occupied, and she loves exploring the vibrant art galleries of Melbourne in her spare time.

Meet Luke, one of our fully-qualified carpenters with 5 years of experience at Allchin!
He raves about the 'ripper bunch of blokes' he works with, making every project a joy. Luke particularly enjoyed the Bowen Street project, where he got to step up and take on more leadership.
Off the construction site, you'll find him on the football field in @trafalgar_fnc alongside Ollie, shooting hoops on the basketball court, or enjoying a round of golf.

His unwavering enthusiasm for work means he never wakes up not wanting to go to work, and loves all aspects of carpentry, (except for sweeping up the site!)

Meet Mark, affectionately known as 'Chooka' (you'll have to ask him about the nickname!). He's our seasoned commercial site supervisor, with an impressive 14-year tenure at Allchin, practically since day one. Chooka is always ready for a chat with the trades while also jumping on the tools when necessary. Juggling typically two projects simultaneously, he's a master at multitasking. He loved working recently on the St Josephs Primary School refurbishment, where his expertise truly shone.
Off-site, Chooka is a sports enthusiast, representing @ellinbankeaglesfnc, teeing off on the golf course with his workmates or cherishing precious moments with his little one.

Commercial Site Supervisor
Meet Mat, affectionately known as Churchy, one of our Lead Carpenters for our domestic builds here at Allchin! With over 20 years in the industry and 3 years with us, Churchy skillfully manages multiple projects at once. He liaises with trades, ensuring every job runs smoothly and efficiently, and he particularly loves working on our renovations. Incorporating the latest products, from new cladding to digital locks, keeps his work innovative and exciting.
Outside of work, Churchy's life revolves around his family and his love for sports. He coaches his children's basketball and football teams, plays footy for @neerimcats, and stays actively involved as VP of the @drouindevilsbasketballclub

Meet Lachy, one of our skilled carpenters at Allchin, who is on the brink of qualification. After a stint in Melbourne, he's back in Warragul, bringing a wealth of experience to the Allchin team.
Lachy loves working with the team on-site and takes immense pride in maintaining a consistently high standard of work. As most of our team says, 'no two days are the same'.
Outside carpentry, you'll find Lachy casting a line at Blue Rock Dam, enjoying quality fishing time with his family.

Introducing Travis, our dedicated first-year carpentry apprentice at Allchin!
Travis is enjoying the hands-on experience learnt on-site, finding it more valuable than conventional classroom learning. Even though he is early on in his carpentry career he has developed a strong passion for our many commercial projects.
